Malekhu has always been famous for local fish. There are lots of eatery by the side of road where you can taste local delicacy. Although most of such restaurant claims fishes are from nearby Trishuli river but usually they are sourced from Janakpur or southern plains.

Large ones are better as it has less bones compared to small ones. Perfectly fried. The achar served with it tastes really good.
